Today's Class- Today was our final meeting of the semester, due to some irregularities in the academic calendar. Since the only planned activity was for students to complete and display their Final project, and they had been told last week that they only needed to be there long enough to do that and make sure they had been credited with all assignments, most showed up on time and were done before the time that the class actually gets going most weeks. The class also was observed by the department for the first time in a long time. The two regular students who were not early today showed up a little later and both completed their final project working by themselves. I received a few updated museum papers, hard copy or by e-mail. Here are a few examples from today:
How to make this up- Everyone who is still active in the class at this point in the semester showed up and was able to complete the assignment.
Homework- None.
For next week- If you haven't heard yet, Kean has made a change to the schedule, declaring next Tuesday to be a Monday meeting schedule. We did have all 15 scheduled meetings this semester (not even a snow day), so that means we are done with our spring semester. Other Kean classes will still be going on this week and some days next week.
I'll start calculating the final semester grades toward the end of the week, then submit them to the college. How soon after that the school passes them on to you I have no idea.
